Project Objectives
To implement a system for securing operational-economic agenda with a view to modernization, increasing the level of management and simplifying the work of staff, specifically in the areas of internal logistics (purchasing and circulation of materials using barcode scanners) and investment plans (their preparation, administration of public procurement and supervision of implementation).
Description of the solution
The QI system for IKEM ensures the operational and economic agenda and internal logistics, including the management of medicines and materials. Supplier selection is done according to procurement rules, with electronic forms and unique registration numbers for tracking orders and material. The system provides logical linking of information, improving the transparency and efficiency of tenders and material management.
IKEM utilizes a centralized requisition system, allowing for more efficient material management and ordering. QI also works with the hospital's information system for automated material dispensing and cost tracking. The QI system at IKEM supports the creation and management of investment plans. These plans are created directly in the system and, once approved by management, specific procurement orders are generated from them.
Each procurement order has a registration number for clear identification and tracking in various documents. This allows for more efficient tracking and evaluation of investment plans and improves clarity in accounting. In addition, QI covers the entire economic agenda including accounting, finance, and asset management, and supports the agency for overseas business travel. Special features in QI cover the entire administration from request to travel settlement, reducing paper-based paperwork. QI cooperates with other systems to ensure the comprehensive operation of the Institute.
Benefits of the Solution
"The QI information system enables the correct setup and control of processes and activities important for management through its interconnected modules. We can also comment positively on its robust architecture, which is both reliable and stable, while allowing us to respond flexibly to our growing requirements. For these reasons, we have chosen QI to manage key business processes."
